Bundling is a competitive pricing tactic where merchants group products or services together as a package-deal to create a new price point. An example of Product Bundling is the selling of a computer -- including screen, mouse, keyboard, software, and more -- all for a single price.

Product Bundling makes it harder for the competition to price their individual products and compete, but easier for a merchant to gather and sell several items at once and create an attractive price point for all the parts combined. Here's a video on Product Bundling:

Recap:

1. Bundling increases efficiency. It's more cost effective for your employees to make one trip down the aisle and gather several items for the same package than to sell things piece by piece.

2. You’ve created a lower price point. You can reach potential customers who focus on price.

3. Bundling makes it difficult for your competitors to track exactly what you're selling and compare and compete with your prices.

4. Bundling may encourage customers to look to you as the sole source for several solutions.
